  OK for a day out.
  
  The Zoo is quite compact and not what I was expecting. I was surprised at the amount and range of animals to view in such a small area.
  
  The cafe is quite dated and could do with a good clean. It serves the usual overpriced goodies, such as bacon rolls, sausages etc.
  
  You can take your own food and eat them outside at the picnic tables, which is probably the best option..
